✨ A note from Guido

Owning Your Anger (And Everything Else)

This week, I got really angry. Twice. Super angry.

The first time, I completely lost myself in the anger. It happened over WhatsApp. The anger took over, and I typed message after message - pointless words, solely meant to prove I was right. I wasn't the owner of my anger; my anger owned me. Sure, I was aware I was angry, but the anger had more influence over me than I had over it.

My second anger attack, fortunately, went very differently. I was immediately conscious of the anger! I was instantly the owner. I embraced the anger. I knew that anger lasts no more than 18 seconds. Anger is a trigger to help you stay aligned. So when you get angry, something is happening that's pulling you out of alignment.

Without ownership, people cannot change.

I'm talking about ownership of who you are in your totality. We've become incredibly skilled at not embracing the things we're unhappy with. We rationalize them away.

But here's what I learned again this week: the moment I owned my anger - truly claimed it as mine without letting it claim me - I had a choice. That's where transformation lives. Not in pushing emotions away, but in standing with them as their conscious witness.

This pattern shows up everywhere.

In this week's blog, I dive deeper into how we let imagined danger run our lives. When we're constantly in survival mode, reacting to threats that aren't really there, we're essentially letting our fear own us - just like I let my anger own me in that first WhatsApp exchange. We haven't yet accepted our own anxiety, so it becomes the owner instead of us. The blog explores how to shift from being lived by imagined danger to consciously creating from your True Self.

A question for you this week:
What owns you that you haven't yet owned? Is it anger, fear, or perhaps something else entirely?

Have a beautiful week.

Newsletter #19. Which Self Is Creating Your Reality?
✨ A note from Guido Last week, I wrote about my broken arm being a blessing in disguise. What I didn't mention then: recognizing those blessings requires the same skill this week's blog is about—discernment. When something "bad" happens, your acquired self immediately knows what it means and rushes to fix it. But your authentic self? It stays open. It doesn't collapse the future into one pred...
Newsletter #18. The Power of Change  Lies in the Experience
✨ A note from Guido You may have noticed my silence these past weeks. I broke my left forearm—an unexpected pause that turned into something far more profound than I could have anticipated. Here's what I've come to understand: every manifestation, every circumstance, is feedback. My broken arm wasn't an interruption to my work—it was the work itself, showing up in physical form. In the forced...
Newsletter #17. The Christmas You Create: Beyond Expectations
✨ A note from Guido Christmas never quite turns out the way we imagined it would. We carry these images in our minds—the perfect gathering, the meaningful conversations, the peace that's supposed to descend like snow on Christmas Eve. And then reality shows up: family dynamics that haven't changed, conversations that stay surface-level, that familiar sense of something missing. It's easy t...
